CrossFit 2.2 would like to wish Bonnie Palomo the very best as she travels on to her new adventures this week. Bonnie is moving out of state and will be finding new adventures with another gym. I know she will have the best time and enrich all those around her just as she has done with us for the past 2 years. We want to thank you, Bonnie, for being an awesome friend and member of our great gym. I have enjoyed training you everyday, Bonnie and I love your big heart and willingness to go for new experiences and adventures.

We wish you safe travels and good luck in your new adventures Bonnie, we will miss you and you are always welcome back home at CF2.2 whenever you want.

    It was great working out with Bonnie on her last day. You will be missed!

    C&J: 5×2 @ 17K. This just clicked today. Form and pulls were good.

    WOD: GOLD! 4rd + 31 reps. I did all DUs for the first time!!! Thanks to Dr. Chris Smith and ART I had no problems with my calf cramping up and I even strung together 6 straight DUs without double hopping between them.

    Lift : 50K(3), 54.6K(2)

    WOD : Quality over quantity here…first time I’ve completed all DU’s in a WOD!
    Rx – 2 push ups short of 4 full rounds. By alternating singles and doubles I was able to string 21 straight doubles and I think my previous best was 8, pretty happy about that. Results weren’t as good the next 3 rounds of 25 though…lots of onesy’s and twosy’s…

    5×2 clean & jerk: 35k – legit 60%. couldn’t get full depth on squat, nor could i get my elbows all of the way up… note to self: don’t crash on your bike.
    wod: gold; 7 full rounds, and did 3/4 of the 8th round – didn’t get to the push-ups, but did all push-ups on my toes.
    post-wod: 50 ttb, hs hold attempts

    bonnie, i had no idea you were leaving us! it’s been great to see your progress and working with you at the gym! your determination is truly admirable. good luck with the next chapter!

    WOD: 6 rds + 34 reps RXish – alternated between DU and singles. Landed on the rope a lot on DU. Need to get back to working on these.

    WOD – 8 rds + DU’s, 24 Air Squats RX. I need to have less rest on the air squats.

    Lift – 60k. I was hoping to lift w/ the noon class so I did the WOD first, but I did the lift on my own.

    Finally getting my double unders, managed to get a PR of 18 in a row, was pretty stoked about that..

    5×2 C&J @60k starting to work on the split jerk and feel pretty lost but still better than my Power Jerk.
    WOD 8 full rds at time cap all RX. The air squats kick my but. On a positive note first time feeling good with my DU since before the knee injury. Went unbroken several rds.
    Post Wod 5×10 ttb done.

    Nice work today Bonnie and good luck. Wherever you end up they will be lucky to have you.
